LE26R74BDX Samsung - Reviews

LE26R74BDX Review 1: I already purchased this LE26R74BDX LCD TV for my son's room from Amazon. I was so impressed with it that i bought a second one for the kitchen. Really good product with all the build quality and reliability you would expect from Samsung products.

Performance and picture quallaity exellant, a bit let down by poor sound from speakers and slow response to channel change selection. There is a software upgrade option for the
LE26R74BDX via freeview that might be worth trying. But still definatly worth considering 9.9 out of 10.

LE26R74BDX Review 2: After receiving my PS3 I was desperate to get my hands on a quality TV that would make full use of the Playstation3's amazing graphics. I received my PS3 for free ( shurl.org/PS34FREE ) so I was able to afford a HDTV straight away, but even if you are on a budget, the Samsung LE26R74BDXI is still one of the best HDTVs on the market. I spent a lot of time researching which HDTV to purchase, and the
Samsung LE26R74BDX always came out on top. When I finally had it set up with my PS3 I was not disappointed. The colours, picture contrast and sound are all exceptional whilst playing the PS3 and watching TV. I am extremely pleased with the TV and have not found any fault so far. Highly recommended!!

LE26R74BDX Review 3: I'm not a big on writing online reviews but an avid reader of them! So, I felt obliged to write a brief review about the Samsung LE26R74BDX.

As LCD's go it's pretty sweet - great picture, not perfect though. Sound is very good too. Perfect quality when playing my xbox 360 on HD - a dream really!

I would recommend this LE26R74BDX tv to anyone but it does make an annoying little noise when switching it on and off from standby - makes it sounds like a cheap nintendo console; but it's something you learn to live with.

LE26R74BDX Review 4: when i got this LE26R74BDX i was quite happy with it. the only issues i have with it really are that it picks up the inbuilt freeview channels in SD and theyre rather grainy. grainy to the point that my girlfriend hates it and thinks i wasted my money on a piece of crap television. I love it for the quality it plays my 360 games though and I know that in a few years time freeview and even regular tv's are going HD anyway so im not to complain.

Another issue I had with this
LE26R74BDX was that another reviewer claims (in capital letters too i might add) that the TV is not an import. well I can confirm that it is infact an import television as the first thing that came out of the box when i opened it was a plug adapter (thankyou to amazon for including that). then when I turned it on the whole thing was in french! this isnt an issue though as you just simply select "english" as your language and "united kingdom" for you DTV settings. finally the last issue with this TV is that no matter what you do, the DTV guide will always display times as an hour behind (more specificially, french time) by default and I'm yet to figure out how to change this, but its a TV, not a clock.

Overall I'm really happy with the LE26R74BDX television, my girlfriend will get used to the picture (and rejoice because she can watch the repeat of eastenders on bbc3 when she comes to stay).

Though i must stress, only buy it if you have something HD to plug into it, otherwise there really isnt a point at the moment.
